Today's tip 4: “As an entrepreneur, you make many decisions without thinking: these so-called intuitive decisions are fueled by knowledge and experiences you have previously acquired."

Your team must trust you as an entrepreneur and be able to rely on you. Therefore, you must excel and ensure you have time to manage your team and be there in emergencies. Minimizing wasted time is thus of utmost importance. And you save time by making as many intuitive decisions as possible. It’s important to know that intuition is not innate, but rather learned. Intuition is experience that has become so natural, you often don't even remember where it originally came from.

To trust your intuition as an entrepreneur, you must be brimming with self-confidence. Insight means seeing many things at once and is a crucial foundation for self-confidence. Insight is fed by knowledge and intuition. Through education and training, you gain the necessary knowledge. Intuition is developed by repeatedly performing tasks and learning from (very) experienced people.

Automatisms Save Time

Especially in the growth process of your business, so many things come at you that you have little or no time to think about them calmly. If you do, the moment is gone and the decision is outdated. You must therefore dare to trust your intuition, and that can only be done by getting even better at what you are already good at (or can be good at). This way, you push your boundaries and gain positive experiences. It also gives you the space to monitor the course of your business. Without vision, no time savings. Without time savings, no vision.

Vision, focus, and insight form the absolute basis for task repetition. Vision & focus set the framework for core tasks, and insight is needed to maintain coherence. By repeatedly performing your core tasks, the desired automatisms arise. This leads to time savings, which you use to continuously improve the quality of processes and delivered products or services. What you might not fully realize is that, first and foremost, you need to organize to direct and maintain your behavior in the right direction.

Of course, it requires discipline, but by focusing on your core tasks, you truly save time. You’ll also notice that you are capable of much more than you thought possible, which gives extra self-confidence. This in turn leads you to make intuitive decisions. This way, you can spend more time leading your team, improving processes and performance, but also on innovation. And you take a very important step towards team intuition!
